6.6. Translational Scalar

A Translational Scalar represents a single component force acting between two bodies along the line from two points or on one body without a reaction force. Two bodies and locations on the bodies must be specified to create the force. A Translational Scalar calculates its force based on a user-specified function expression or User Subroutine. The action force is applied to the action marker and an equal and opposite reaction force is applied to the base marker. If the Only Action Body option is selected, the reaction force is not applied to the base marker.
