Connecting properties such as the base and action bodies and the locations and normal direction on the bodies are defined in the Inplane Primitive creation dialog. While creating the joint, two markers are simultaneously created to represent the joint. The normal direction of the plane is defined as the z-axis of the base marker and the other axes of the marker are determined by the right hand rule. The orientation of the action marker is defined as the identity matrix. The locations of the markers must be on the plane. The creation dialog and parameters are the same as for Parallel Primitive Creation with the option of Body-Body-Point-Point-Direction creation.
