4.8.2. Harmonic TE

The harmonic TE is one of the important values to verify the gear design. This is useful to analyze the excitation force in frequency domain. The harmonic TE can be performed as following steps.

Step Description
1Click Harmonic TE in the menu bar.
2Under Result, select the DFR filename.
3Under Object, select the transmission error type and gear set.
4Select the FFT Type of Magnitude or Phase.
5Set the Scale to Original, Logarithm, or Decibel.
6Set the number of data Points for the FFT.
7Set the Start time for FFT.
8Set the End time for FFT.
9Click the Steps for Harmonic TE  button to create the graph..
10Click the Steps for Harmonic TE  button to close the operation.
