1.4. Define Section Properties

  1. Define section property for the ball

    1. Select SECTION > SOLID from the list.

    2. Click Edit.

    3. Click NewID in the Keyword Input Form dialog.

    4. Enter TITLE: rigid section.

    5. Click Accept.

    6. Click Done.

  2. Define section property for the plate

    1. Select SHELL from the list.

    2. Click Edit.

    3. Click NewID in the Keyword Input Form dialog.

    4. Enter TITLE: plate section.

    5. Enter NIP = 5 .

    6. Enter T1 = 1 and press Return (assigns T2,T3,T4 = T1).

    7. Click Accept.

    8. Click Done.
