1.5. Assign Material and Section Properties

Choose FEM > Model and Part > Part Data from the menus.

  1. Select Assign.

  2. Select S1 plate from the list.

  3. Click SECID in the bottom panel, then select 2 plate section and click Done in the Link SECTION dialog.

  4. Click MID in the bottom panel, then select 2 material for plate and click Done in the Link MAT dialog.

  5. Click Assign Part: Apply in the bottom panel.

  1. Select H2 ball from the side panel list.

  2. Click SECID in the bottom panel, then select 1 rigid section, and click Done in the Link SECTION dialog.

  3. Click MID in the bottom panel, then select 1 rigid material for b, and click Done in the Link MAT dialog.

  4. Click Assign Part: Apply in the bottom panel.
