4.7. Generate Solid Elements Between Two Shell Layers

  1. Select Solid By: Two Shell Sets in the Element Generation Interface.

  2. Set Segment=4.

  3. Activate Set 1 (should be already activated).

  4. Click the lower face of the middle disc.

  5. Activate N1.

  6. Click node ID 429 (marked with red dot).

  7. Activate N2.

  8. Click node ID 518 (marked with green dot).

  9. Orient the model so that the top layer of the second disc from the bottom in visible.

  10. Activate Set 2.

  11. Select ByElem in the lower panel (gen select panel).

  12. Activate Prop in the lower panel.

  13. Click the upper face of the second disc from the bottom.

  14. Activate N1.

  15. Click node ID 309 (marked with red dot).

  16. Activate N2.

  17. Click node ID 296 (marked with green dot ).

  18. Click Create.

  19. Click Accept.

  20. Click Done.
