Rectangular Block Model
The rectangular block is fixed at one face using Fixed Support. A Nodal Pressure of -200 MPa is applied to the nodes of the opposite face.
X-Joint Model
Analysis of the X-joint model is performed with two-sided symmetry. Two-plane symmetric boundary conditions are applied and one midside node at the horizontal plane is constrained in the opposite direction to restrict rigid-body motion. A pressure load of -10 MPa is applied to the top face of the small-diameter tube.
