The Connections Manager extension must first be loaded from the ACT Start Page. Follow these steps to load the extension:
In the Workbench Project dialog, click ACT Start Page and select Manage Extensions.
Click the ConnectionsManager tile to load the extension.
Note: To unload it, click this tile again.
Open Mechanical to verify that the extension is loaded correctly: Right-click Connections in the tree Outline and click Insert > 1D Connection Group to add the object to the tree.
