On the Operating Conditions tab of the Turbomachinery Performance Map dialog box, you select and enable systems to participate in the generation of performance map data, then you define the rotational speeds and mass flow rates at which you intend to analyze the design(s), in the form of:
A base duty operating point, and
A number of speedlines.
As a result, the Performance Map system automatically generates:
Two new input parameters,
Mass FlowandPercent Speed, for each participating system. These parameters drive a system's designated input parameters for mass flow rate and rotational speed.One design point for the base duty operating point, and
A set of design points (one for each specified mass flow rate) for each speedline.
Although design points can be viewed and edited in the Ansys Workbench parameter manager (the Parameter Set tab or Parameters tab in Workbench), it is strongly recommended that you specify and review speedline definitions on the Operating Conditions tab.
