It is usual to save history data very frequently (the default is every cycle) in order to capture high frequency responses.
If a calculation is run for a large number of cycles the history files can become very large.
This window lets you reduce the size of history files by removing data for some cycles.

The ident of the file you wish to reduce in size.
- Reduce by
Specify the reduction factor in this field.
If you specify a reduction factor of 2, data for every other cycle will be removed from the file.
If you specify a reduction factor of 3, data for two out of every three cycles will be removed from the file.
