System Connections

To create a specific workflow and to exchange data between different systems connections, add the optiSLang algorithmic systems and integration components to the Project Schematic using the instructions provided in Adding Systems to the Project Schematic.

You can make connections between the following optiSLang systems and components.

MOP Solver to Optimization

Finds improved designs as a result of a metamodel-based sensitivity analysis. Data exchanged is the information about parameters. You can establish multiple connections between the two systems. This connection can be established for all optimization strategies except for ARSM which uses its own meta-modeling approach internally.

Sensitivity to Sensitivity

Enhances an existing sampling by adding further samples. Data exchanged is the information about parameters, criteria, and the already sampled designs.

Sensitivity to Optimization

Finds improved designs as a result of a sensitivity analysis. If an objective function is defined in the Sensitivity system, the best design is exchanged as a start design for the optimization. Otherwise, a connection is not established.

Optimization to Optimization

Checks if any further improved designs can be found in the existing best designs. Data exchanged is the information about parameters, criteria, and the already sampled designs.

Optimization to Robustness

Analyzes the robustness of optimization results. The best design of the optimization is exchanged to set the nominal design for the robustness analysis. You establish connections from an Optimization system to multiple Robustness systems.
