Dimension of the coupling participant.
Determines the region topologies the participant supports and the coupling participants it can be coupled with. A participant can have only a single dimension value (it may be either 3D or 2D, but not both).
Optional. If no value is specified, uses the default value.
Possible values:
3D (default value)
A 3D participant may have surface regions, volume regions, or a combination of both. It can be coupled with 2D and/or other 3D participants. When sending/receiving vector data, the data may be either all 2D or all 3D.
2D
A 2D participant can have only surface regions and can be coupled with 2D or 3D participants. 2D to 3D coupling cannot be done if one of the regions is a point cloud.
Note: This setting is not editable in System Coupling's GUI.
