As mentioned above in Mesh Topologies, Ansys Polyflow can solve problems using a wide variety of meshes. Figure 7.2: Hybrid Mesh with Tetrahedra and Hexahedra and Figure 7.3: Mesh with Shell Elements show examples of meshes that are valid for Ansys Polyflow.
Meshes with zero-thickness walls (shell elements), triangular, tetrahedral, quadrilateral, and hexahedral meshes can all be used.
