Chapter 12: Flow Induced Crystallization (FIC)

Ansys Polyflow can be used to solve several types of viscoelastic flows. Features described in Viscoelastic Flows are interlinked with fluids whose structure is not affected by the flow. In some processes, the fluid structure is altered by the flow. This is especially true in fiber spinning processes, where crystallization takes place. For this purpose, a model has been developed by Doufas, McHugh, and Miller (see [12]).
