The optiSLang Web Service is included within the optiSLang installer and is always installed alongside optiSLang. If you have an older version of optiSLang that did not include the web service, you can run the standalone web service installer package (contact Ansys Dynardo support for the standalone package).

The optiSLang Web Service installation includes a configuration file which sets the storage location for the user and project databases as well as optiSLang project working directories to the optiSLang installation directory. To ensure access to these files, install optiSLang for the individual user only, or update the configuration file.
