To install the optiSLang Web Service, the following is required:
One of the following operating systems:
Windows 7 or higher (64-bit)
RedHat Linux 6.9 or higher (64-bit)
CentOS Linux 6.9 or higher (64-bit)
A minimum of 1 TB free disc space
A minimum of 16 GB RAM (64 GB RAM is highly recommended)
A minimum of 16 logical cores
For the optiSLang project discovery feature, UDP Multicast must be allowed and supported.
For distributed usage (optiSLang Web Service on HPC head node and optiSLang execution on compute nodes), firewalls must be configured to allow network communication on certain ports and port ranges.
