Examples and Tutorials

As a fundamental tutorial series, the damped oscillator tutorials are available in the optiSLang Tutorials documentation. The oscillator calibration section of the series is worked out for many solver integration types. One version exists for AEDT. The damped oscillator is represented as a Twin Builder/Simplorer model, but the tutorial is representative for any type of AEDT model. This tutorial has been thoroughly revised to offer more detail and fitness-for-real-world training. Now, it is a perfect introduction to the working principles of the AEDT integration plugin and on how to build a standard setup using it.

In the Ansys Learning Hub (ALH) you can find the Nissan Leaf Tutorial, which is based on a Maxwell 2D model of a permanent magnet synchronous machine. This tutorial has a clear focus on AEDT-optiSLang integration setup following best practice recommendations. It is representative for all model types offered by Ansys Electronics Desktop. In the appendix part of the long version of the slide set there are valuable real-world-oriented tips and tricks, assembled on the slides in a more visual approach than the texts here.
