Monitoring Templates

You can use monitoring templates (*.omtpl) to store and restore a customized view of the current postprocessing session. You can then apply the monitoring template file to a similar monitoring database file to see the same postprocessing of the given data. The template definition includes plot-specific settings including window positions, axis ranges, plot titles, and font sizes.

Note:  Properties dependent on the data set, such as design set and axis selection, are excluded. Design activation, selection and color are saved in the monitoring database file.

To save a view as a template, from the menu bar, select File > Save as template.

To open a template in the Postprocessing window, from the menu bar, select File > Reload as > Template.

To use the template in the optiSLang workflow:

  1. On the Scenery pane, right-click the Postprocessing node and select Edit from the context menu.

  2. In the Postprocessing mode section, select Template.

  3. To the right of the Template button, click  .

  4. Browse to the monitoring template file, select it, and click Open.

  5. To save the changes and close the dialog, click OK.
