oSP3D is part of the optiSLang installation and is licensed when optiSLang is licensed. However, for an oSP3D standalone installation, an optiSLang Enterprise license is required.
The way that you start oSP3D depends on the operating system on which optiSLang is installed.
To start oSP3D on Windows from the Start menu, select > .
To start oSP3D on Linux, in a new terminal, run the script file sos.sh in the oSP3D installation directory. By default, this is C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v242\optiSLang\sos.
