At each time step, a volume-fraction weighted velocity between the particle velocity (translational and rotational) and the flow velocity in the cell from the last time step is assigned to the fluid cells touched by the particle. Additionally, the cell velocity of all cells touched by the particle is forced towards particle velocity extrapolated to the cell center using source terms.
