In the General Options tab you can set the default working directories for both the EnSight Client and EnSight Server. The folder icons can be used to graphically select those directories. By default the options have . which denotes the current working directory. For the Client this is the directory where Launcher was started. For the Server it will probably default to your home directory on the remote or local computer.

While the Client and Server working directories can be specified using the Folder icon to graphically select those directories, keep in mind that the Server Working Directory must be relative to where the Server runs. If the Server is running on a different computer and if the file systems on the different computer are not the same as those on the Client computer, then you should forgo the folder icon for the Server Working Directory and simply type in the pathname.
