The following tool guides are available for the convection condition:
| Select | Select a face to add a thermal condition. This is the default filtering option. |
| To apply this condition to a named selection, select this option and then choose a named selection from the list. |
Convection Tool Options
The following tool options are available for the convection condition:
| Convection coefficient | The convection coefficient (or heat transfer coefficient). This value is based on the composition of the fluid in contact with the face, the geometry of the face, and the hydrodynamics of the fluid flow past the face. |
| Convection temperature | The external temperature of the surrounding fluid. |
