Force
When you apply a force load, Discovery determines a normal direction based on the selected location, but you can also use the Direction tool to set the force direction. By default, the force is distributed across the selected geometry.
Alternatively, you can specify a Torque force and then enter the rotational forces. For distributed forces, you can decide if the force varies depending on the area of a surface to which it is applied.
You can also apply a distributed load in a specific direction and apply the force load from a
remote point.
Note: Discovery uses a
flexible stiffness behavior for remote points.
