Splitting Contacts and Contact Groups

When you convert multiple automatically-generated contacts to sliding or excluded contacts from the Bonded Contacts (default) tool, they become a new contact group in the Physics Tree. From there, you can additionally split the group into individual per-body contacts, or if a single contact references multiple face pairs, split it into individual face pairs.

To split a contact group into individual per-body contacts or a contact into individual face pairs:

Select the contact or contact group in the physics tree.

Note: This action does not apply to the Bonded Contacts (default) group.
Right-click and select Split.
