This section describes the operational and support changes introduced in Ansys Speos 2024 R2 release.
Geometry Modeler
As of version 2024 R1, the ACIS modeler is removed.
The Parasolid modeler is now the only modeler available.
The Environment Variable to set the modeler between ACIS and Parasolid is no longer used for Speos. However it is always active in case of a SpaceClaim session.
The documentation has been refactored to provide a more logical structure:

Windows: Windows 10 and Windows 11
Minimum NVIDIA Driver 551.61 is required from 2024 R2.
Deprecated and End of Life Features
Exporting a HUD Optical Analysis (HOA) simulation is in end of life as of version 2024 R2 and no longer possible. The HOA Export feature has been removed from the interface.
