The following loads are considered:

  • Centrifugal loads caused by rotational velocity

  • Thermal loads due to the difference in reference and operating temperature

  • Unsteady flow pressure applied on the fan blade

The rotational velocity (CGOMGA,0,0,1680) is applied along the global Z axis. The reference temperature is maintained at 22°C, and the temperature loading is applied on the blade (BF):

The unsteady flow pressures (imported from Ansys CFX) are generated for EO = 2 engine-order excitation at a rotational frequency of 534.76 Hz. The pressure data are then mapped to the structural rotor fan blade model in Mechanical APDL via its mapping processor (/MAP).
