Chapter 5: Using Interactive Mode

The graphical user interface (GUI) is an easy and intuitive way to interact with the program. Running the software through the user interface is referred to as interactive mode.

The user interface enables you to perform an analysis interactively with little or no knowledge of individual commands. Each user interface option activates one or more commands to perform the requested operation. You can perform many common operations interactively, but many advanced analysis features are accessed by entering commands in the command input area or via a batch file. The program records all commands issued in the input history file (Jobname.log).
