Chapter 9: Electromagnetic Linear Perturbation Analysis

A linear perturbation electromagnetic analysis can be used to solve a linear problem following a nonlinear electromagnetic analysis. The total tangent matrix form the nonlinear solution (base analysis) is used in the linear perturbation analysis to capture the linear and nonlinear magnetic effects at the operating point of the nonlinear analysis.

The linear perturbation electromagnetic analysis can be static or harmonic.

These electromagnetic solid elements support linear perturbation analysis: PLANE233, SOLID236 and SOLID237.
