1.2.2. Outline

The Material Designer outline displays the input properties required to compute a homogenized material. Items in the outline correspond to tools available on the Ribbon Bar. The Context Menu for each entry provides more detailed options.

The status icon indicates whether an item is up to date ( ) or needs updating ( ).

The following items are displayed for a Representative Volume Element (RVE) model:

  • Materials: Define the materials that make up your model.

  • Geometry: Define the RVE geometry.

  • Mesh: Define mesh settings for your model.

  • Settings: Define analysis settings for your model.
