Creating a Standalone Test

This section shows how to create a standalone listening test, ready to be run on a different machine without the need for the full Ansys Sound: Jury Listening Test installer. To do this, you must create and share a validated test (see Validating the Test) and create a standalone application, as described below.

To Create a Standalone Application:

Note: Operator task.
Note: You need to complete all the Setup Definition.

You need to run a trial session.

  1. Go to File > Prepare the listening test > Create a Standalone Conduction.

  2. Click BROWSE.

The Location to copy the file dialog opens.

  3. In Windows File Explorer,

    • Browse to the destination folder for your export.

    • Click Select Folder.

The standalone application is saved in the location specified in the *.zip archive format with the name JLT_Conduction_standalone.zip. Unzip this file on the target machine and run the JURY_con.exe file to conduct the test.

Note: To conduct a standalone test, you must also export a validated test *.jte file (see Validating the Test) and share this along with the standalone application created above.
