Running a Trial Session

Running a Trial Session shows how to launch a trial run, to verify that everything is set correctly.

Note: Before conducting the test with participants, you should run the test at least once to: - estimate the test duration, - estimate the test difficulty, - make sure that all the screens, sounds and parameters are correct.

To Run a Trial Session:

Prerequisites: You need to complete all the Setup Definition.
  1. Go to File > Prepare the listening test > Trial run.
  2. Click TRIAL RUN.

    • If prompted by the Unable to run the Validated test dialog, complete the listed actions then select Trial run again.

  3. Follow the trial session until the end.
  4. At the end of the trial session, click the to go back to the Setup

The trial run is completed.

Once the trial run is valid, you need to create a validated test.
