Using the BSDF - BRDF - Anisotropic Surface Viewer

  1. From Start menu, click All Programs, Ansys, Speos Labs, Optical Property Editors, Surface Optical Property Editors, BSDF - BRDF - Anisotropic Surface Viewer.

  1. Click BSDF - BRDF - Anisotropic Surface Viewer .

    A window appears.

  2. Click File, Open... and select a supported file.

    Supported files are Simple BSDF, Anisotropic BSDF, Complete scattering, BSDF180, unpolished and coated files.

    Important: The BSDF - BRDF - Anisotropic Surface Viewer always considers n1=1 and n2=1.5. The distribution shape will not be valid if you consider different refractive indices.
  3. Set the parameters.

    You can save a surface. You can save the surface as measure file saving it in a binary compressed format. Be aware that this cannot be undone.

    You can click Show images to display the image of the rendering, and an image of the hardware sample. These images are associated to the .anisotropicbsdf file.

    You can build BSDF180 surface.

    You can build Anisotropic BSDF surface.

    You can export to conoscopic map.

    You can edit surface properties.

    You can edit preferences.
