Maps Overview
These types of maps can be generated either from the illuminance or the luminance simulations.
Basic maps:
Maps containing photometric or radiometric data, with no separation by layer.
Extended maps:
Maps containing photometric or radiometric data, with a separation by layer (separated by source, face or sequence).
Spectral maps:
Maps containing colorimetric data (photometric or radiometric) with a separation by layer (separated by source, face or sequence).
Spectral maps with spectral data:
Maps containing colorimetric data (photometric or radiometric), by wavelength and with a separation by layer (separated by source, face or sequence).
Note: For maps with data separated by source, you can fully or partially switch on/off each source and then increase or decrease the contribution of each source on
the result. The post-processing on sources is available in the Virtual Photometric Lab and the Human Vision viewer.
