Exporting Virtual Lighting Animation Data

The following procedure helps you export the data as *.xml to save the project or *.csv file to externalize the definition of the timeline.

Note: The Virtual Lighting Animation Tool is in BETA mode for the current release.

To export data from the Virtual Lighting Animation tool:

Prerequisites: You must have opened a XMP map in the Virtual Lighting Animation tool.
  1. In the File tab, click Export.
  2. Select the type of export:
    • select *.csv file format to export an animation template based on the timelines defined for the sources of the opened XMP map.

The animation template allows you to quickly define the timeline duration and the power for each source of the XMP map.

    • select *.xml file format to export all the data of the animation project (sources, timeline, ratio, preferences).

The *.xml file allows you to re-open the animation project in the Virtual Lighting Animation tool without opening the XMP map, and to share it.

Data are exported and can then be used.
Now you can edit the timeline in the animation template or share the *.xml project file.
