Importing a Graded Material File

The following page helps you import a Graded Material file into 3D Energy Density Lab.

To import a Graded Material file:

  1. In the 3D Energy Density Lab, select File > Import.
  2. In the Windows Explorer, in the extension drop-down list, select Graded Index Material File (*.gradedmaterial).
  3. Select a *.gradedmaterial file.
  4. From the prompt windows:
    • Click Yes to open the graded material to display the refractive index data.
    • Click No to open the graded material to display the volumic absorption data.
The Graded Material file opens and you can use the 3D Energy Density Lab tools to analyze it.
