Creating an Optimization
The following procedure helps you create an optimization according to the optimization mode defined.
To create an optimization:

From the Light Simulation tab, click Optimization

In the General section, in the Mode drop-down list, select the optimization mode to use:

- Random search: the optimization algorithm based on the Merit function.
- Design of experiment: allows you to use an generated excel file based on the variable you selected so that you can directly define all values for each variable.
- Plugin: allows you to add your own optimization plugin for more flexibility.

In the 3D view, click

and select the simulation to be optimized.
