Defining the Visualization Options

The following procedure helps you adjust the visualization options of Locate Material tool.

To define the Visualization options:

  1. Open the Locate Material tool.
  2. Open the Options panel.
  3. With the Visualization options, you can:

    • Highlight missing material

      When activated, geometries with no material will be highlighted in red when using the Locate Material tool.

    • Draw selected material

      When activated, the colored materials are highlighted in the 3D view when using the Locate Material tool. Otherwise the materials are only highlighted in the tree.

    • Define the Material color opacity.

      This option allows you to adjust the level of transparency of the material highlight so that you can see through transparent geometries or better see the geometry selection.

  4. To apply the modifications, in the 3D view, click Search for applied material .
The modifications defined in the Visualization options are visible in the 3D view.
