Unit Considerations
Only series with compatible units can be overlaid into a chart. To overlay data on the primary Y-axis, both the X- and Y-axis units must be the same between the target chart and the overlay data. To overlay using a secondary Y-axis, the X-axis units of the overlay data must be compatible with the target plot.
For example, to overlay a series from another analysis onto a PSF cross-section plot using the primary Y-axis, the overlay series must have a unitless quantity for the Y-axis, since PSF cross-section plots have relative irradiance, a unitless quantity, on the Y-axis. Also, in this example, the X-axis units must be the current aberration unit (e.g., microns if not in afocal mode).
