To edit the series that are overlaid onto a plot, select the overlay series button. If this button is disabled, it is because either the plot does not support overlay series or there may be no other windows open that can provide overlay series to the window. Alternatively, the overlay series may be accessed via a right-click context menu item on the chart "Add/remove overlay series."
