Viewing a datasheet

You can see more information about any material you see in MI Materials Gateway by viewing its datasheet. This shows the material's property values.

If your MI Materials Gateway implementation is configured to support processes, surface treatments, colors, or simulation records, then you can also view datasheets for these in the same way.
Note: If you are working with version-controlled data:
  • If you view a datasheet from the Assignments panel, you will see the version that is currently assigned.
  • If you view a datasheet from the Imported material cards panel, you will see the version used to generate the imported model.
To view a datasheet:
  1. Right-click the record name and select View datasheet.
Tip: To see a different view of the data, click Settings at the top right of the datasheet to choose between the available layouts. The layout determines which attributes appear on the datasheet, and how they are organized under headings.
    1. To see the full data for a tabular attribute or a functional attribute, click View this data
      • Click Columns on the right to show or hide columns of data.
      • Click Filters to filter the data shown.
    2. To visualize a functional attribute as curve data, click Plot curves.
Use the Axis and Parameters controls on the right to modify the curves displayed.
  2. Optional: Click Advanced to view the datasheet with additional features.
You can edit the data values (depending on permissions), or compare data for different versions of the record.
