Importing materials into ANSA

Use MI Materials Gateway to import materials from your Granta MI database to ANSA for use in simulation. You can import materials to the analysis model that is currently open in ANSA.

To find materials to import, you can search or browse your Granta MI database, or use a material from your favorites.

1. Select the materials that you want to import, then double-click to import the material cards.
2. Optional: If there is more than one type of material model available, double-click the model you want to use.
3. Optional: If prompted, enter values for any parameters required by the model.

4. When you are happy with the list of materials for import, click Import.

The materials are imported to your current analysis model in ANSA, where they can be used for simulation.

You can use the Imported material cards panel to view and manage all Granta MI materials that have been imported to your analysis model.
