Viewing and updating your settings
The MI Materials Gateway Settings allow you to specify user preferences, connection details, and gather diagnostic details.
In the Navigation bar, click the left-hand menu and select 
Settings;
then click the menu to the right, and select one of the following:

then click the menu to the right, and select one of the following:
- Preferences - View and update your user preferences, for example, for data display, data caching, and interaction with the CAD, CAE, or PLM host application
- Log in - Enter your user name and password, if required
- Granta MI connection - Check your connection to the Granta MI server
- Diagnostics - These may be used by your MI Materials Gateway administrator to resolve support queries. You will not normally need to use these.
Note:
An error
indicates that you must configure settings on this screen before using MI Materials
Gateway.
An error

A warning
indicates that a setting on this screen is incorrect or missing, which may affect the
functionality available in MI Materials Gateway.
To restore all of these settings to their default state (as initially set up by your MI Materials Gateway administrator), click Reset at the bottom left of the window.
