Reinstating a record, folder, or Table
Records, folders, and Tables that are Withdrawn may be reinstated.
When you reinstate a Withdrawn version:
- A new Unreleased version is created.
- The version number is incremented by 1.
- The data from a Withdrawn record is copied into the new, Unreleased version.
Note that there is no option to reinstate descendant records automatically. Any withdrawn descendent records or folders must be reinstated individually (or you can use the Bulk Edit Version Control tool to reinstate multiple items).

Locate the Withdrawn record, folder, or Table in the
Contents tree and and click Edit
on the
item menu button.
- In the Version Control panel, click Reinstate this record.
- (Optional) Type some notes about the change you are making in the box provided. The notes will apply to all folders and records being changed.
- Click OK.
