Review the certificates currently used for server authentication on your Granta MI Pro application server, and replace or remove them, if necessary.
Upgrading the MI Pro server software
The Granta MI Installation Manager guides you through the process of upgrading existing Granta MI software components, and installing any new software components included in the latest Granta MI Pro version.
Changing the certificate used by MI Material Calibration
From version 2024 R2, MI Material Calibration uses the MI Server API server certificate for client authentication.
Upgrading MI Materials Gateway desktop clients
The MI Materials Gateway for MI Pro client software installed on desktop client machines must be upgraded after you upgrade your Granta MI application server.
Upgrading all your databases
When a new Granta MI Pro software version is installed, you must upgrade all your existing Granta MI Pro databases to ensure that the database schemas are compatible with the new Granta MI software.
Updating MI Pro Materials Data
To ensure your MI Pro Materials Data database always contains the most accurate and up to data, ensure that you update it after upgrading to a new Granta MI Pro version. Any in-house data that may have been added to the database will be preserved.
