Export Layout Field Data

For Maxwell 3D Transient A-Phi designs that include a layout component, you can export field data related to the layout component. Exporting plane surface maximum B-H field data, maximum current density data in each layer, and average current/current density data in all the vias will help users efficiently find where the board or via damage will occur.

To export layout field data, select Maxwell 3D > Export Layout Data, or right-click on the Maxwell3DDesign entry in the Project Manager tree to select Export Layout Data, then select one of the following options:

• Export Grid Max Field Data
• Export Via Average Current Density
• Export Via Current
