Assigning Materials to Layers

From the Edit Layers window, click the material of a layer in a drop-down menu on the Primary tab, and on the Materials tab of the Select Definition window. Materials can also be parameterized with project variable text array references.

Complete these steps to assign a material to a layer.

1. From the Edit Layers window, click rows to select the layers that you want to modify.
2. From the Material drop-down menu of the Edit selected pane, select a material or select Edit to open the Select Definition window.
3. If you chose Edit, select the material you want and click OK to close the Select Definition window.
4. Click Apply and the chosen material is assigned to the selected layer.
