Ansys Applications

Applications from Ansys Release 2025 R2 and 2025 R1 are available in Ansys Gateway powered by AWS. See the Ansys support policy for Ansys releases in the note below.

  • Ansys supports the last two major releases. When a new major release becomes available, applications from the older, unsupported release will be removed from Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.

    For example, when 2026 R1 applications are released and made available in Ansys Gateway powered by AWS, 2025 R1 applications will be removed, as only 2025 R2 and 2026 R1 will be supported.

    When older packages are removed, existing resources with older packages will not be impacted and will continue to function.

  • You must obtain licenses for the applications that you want to use in AWS Cloud and configure at least one licensing system in Ansys Gateway powered by AWS. See License Settings in the Administration Guide.

  • Applications marked as 'Beta' are subject to the Beta Disclaimer that is noted in the Administration Guide.

    By default, users are not allowed to see beta applications when adding applications to virtual machines in a project space. To allow access to beta applications, see Allowing or Preventing Access to Beta Applications in the Administration Guide.

  • If a supported application is not available in Ansys Gateway powered by AWS, contact Ansys Support.
