Application workspace

The main features of the MI Viewer application workspace are shown below.

  1. Select the Profile or database containing the tables and records you are interested in
  2. Browse the tables, folders and records in the selected Profile or database
  3. Switch between Read mode and Edit mode (Read-only users don't see this)
  4. Click to open the Granta MI Home Page, a web application where you can access a range of other Granta MI web applications including the Explore, Import, and Job Queue apps.
  5. Home - go back to the MI Viewer home page for the selected Profile or database
  6. Reports - compare, plot, and export data from the Record List, and create Restricted Substances analysis reports
  7. Quick Search - run text search in the currently-selected database/Profile
  8. Advanced Search - perform more complex searches with a range of different search criteria
  9. Help - view application version information, acccess the application help, download locally-installed Granta MI reference documentation PDFs, and find information about the latest Granta MI product features and capabilities on the Ansys website.
  10. Settings - change various application options
  11. Admin - view and change application configuration settings (Appears only if you are logged in to the system using an account with administrative privileges.)
