Saving a Project Copy

You can create a copy of the current project and working directory without loading the new copy into optiSLang.

  1. From the menu bar, select File > Save current project as > Save a copy of project.

  2. In the File name field, enter a name for the project.

  3. Browse to the location where you want to save the project.

  4. Click Save.

  5. The Project preparation wizard opens. To use this wizard, click Next. To close the wizard and copy the project as-is, click Skip preparation step.

  6. Configure how to handle working data by selecting if the project should be reset and how to store the working directory contents.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Review and edit registered files as required.

  9. Click Next.

  10. Review and edit placeholders as required.

  11. Click Next.

  12. Review the files referenced in the project to identify potential problems with missing or absolute file paths. You cannot change file paths in this window.

  13. Click Next.

  14. Select the check boxes to export the project settings and/or placeholder file along with the project.

  15. Click Next.

  16. Check the summary to ensure you have selected the appropriate preparation settings.

  17. Click Finish.
