External Data File for Far Field Wave

You can define a Far Field Incident Wave Source as a plain text data file with a .ffd suffix. The fields can be independent or dependent on the frequency.

Note:

The far field data file must be a plain text file. Wordpad includes invisible characters that HFSS does not support. The code tolerates white space separators anywhere (blank, tab, newline, carriage return). Between double values in same logical grouping, it tolerates comma or semicolon separators.
